SMITH | CANADA | 1983 | VO ANGLAIS / ST FR\nAvec Don Francks\, Susan Roman\, Paul Le Mat\, Catherine O’Hara \nLa belle Angel\, membre d’un groupe punk underground\, est enlevée par Mok\, une superstar légendaire\, à la recherche d’une voix très spéciale capable de libérer un puissant démon d’une autre dimension. Angel’s boyfriend Omar embarks on a quest to find her with Stretch and Dizzy\, the two other musicians in the group.\nDirector Clive A. Smith always dreamed of competing with Walt Disney from Toronto. His big success was Rock & Rule\, one of his only two feature-length films\, although its reception was lukewarm when it came out in 1983. Today we can rediscover this remarkably animated film\, with original songs by Lou Reed\, Iggy Pop and Debbie Harry.

He asks Prince Biondello o capture the thief\, who turns out to be none other than a firebird. The Prince follows the bird to the hideout of the evil wizard Bardadargento and is captured. The sorcerer offers him a deal – his freedom in exchange for the beautiful princess Vassilissa.
