Ce séminaire veut y contribuer. \nAlthough Switzerland is recognized for its documentary cinema and its animated films\, it is rare to find films that unite the two approaches\, despite a growing interest on the part of producers and audiences for documentary animated films.\n This seminar offers participants a chance to interrogate the possibilities of such a cinema at the crossroads of genres. Four Swiss and European film projects will serve as the point of depart for reflection on the formal concerns of this hybridization. Speakers will share their experiences\, drawing on examples; they will examine not only the artistic aspects\, but also the productionrelated and technical aspects related to their work.\n Independent of its format (short\, long\, series)\, the animated documentary is a genre that offers a vast terrain of creation\, provided that dialogue between the disciplines is open and without prejudice. Cinéaste indépendant\, il a réalisé des vidéoclips\, des publicités et des courts métrages dont Nous habitons dans l’herbe (1996)\, Ring of Fire (2000)\, plusieurs fois primés\, et The Runt\, qui remporte\, entre autres récompenses\, le prix Fipresci à Annecy en 2007. Il a également créé des films d’animation pour enfants\, dont la série pour la télévision Tom & das Erdbeermarmeladebrot mit Honig. Le style de Andreas Hykade est basé sur des formes très simples\, très peu de couleurs et une animation fluide\, et les histoires qu’il développe vont toujours à l’essentiel. En 2008\, il a\nenseigné l’animation à l’Université d’Harvard. Depuis 2015\, il est le directeur de la prestigieuse école de cinéma d’animation Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg à Ludwigsburg. Nuggets\, son tout dernier film\, en compétition internationale à Animatou cette année\, décrit avec brio et un sens poussé de l’épure\, les mécanismes délétères de l’addiction.\nCette masterclass donnera l’occasion de découvrir son style unique\, les influences et les thèmes qui traversent cette oeuvre passionnante. \nBorn in 1968 in Germany\, Andreas Hykade studied at the Stuttgart Academy of Fine Arts and the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. An independent filmmaker\, he has made video clips\, commercials and short films\, including We lived in Grass (1996)\, the multiple award-winning Ring of Fire (2000)\, and The Runt\, which won\, among other awards\, the Fipresci Prize at Annecy in 2007. His style is based on very simple forms\, minimal colors and fluid animation\, and the stories he develops always go straight to the point. In 2008\, he taught animation at the University of Harvard. DESCRIPTION:Rencontre avec Abi Feijó\nVendredi 9 octobre 2015 de 14h00 à 17h00 | MEG – Auditorium – GRATUIT\nLes masterclasses sont destinées prioritairement aux étudiants de la HEAD-Genève et aux enseignants.\nGratuit et ouvert au public sous réserve de places disponibles. \n  \nAbi Feijó proposera une masterclass sur le travail qu’il a développé dans ses ateliers de cinéma d’animation où il exploite différents techniques d’animation et supports pédagogiques.\n Abi Feijó will be giving a masterclass on the animation techniques he has developed in his workshops\, for which he makes use of different pedagogical resources. \nNé en 1956 à Braga (Portugal)\, Abi Feijó\, diplômé de l’école des Beaux-Arts de Porto\, est un réalisateur de film d’animation et producteur portugais\, fondateur des deux prestigieux studios Filmógrafo et Ciclope Filme. Durant un stage à l’Office canadien du film (ONF)\, Abi Feijó réalise son premier court métrage Oh que Calma\, puis de retour au Portugal A Noite Saiu à Rua (1987). Dans son travail\, Il explore la plasticité de différentes techniques (dessins\, sable) et s’appuie sur une trame narrative très écrite.\nEn 1993\, son court métrage Os Salteadores (Les Brigands) drame politique renvoyant à un incident récent et douloureux de l’histoire portugaise\, sera couronné de prix. Suivront Fado Lusitano (1995)\, Clandestino (2000).\nAbi Feijó est également le producteur de tous les films de Regina Pessoa (La nuit\, Histoire tragique avec fin heureuse\, Kali le petit vampire). Il a fondé Casa Museu de Vilar\, un centre culturel dédié à l’animation à Porto et a enseigné à l’université catholique de Porto\, à l’Université nationale des arts de Taiwan\, à l’Université d’Algarve et à l’Escola Superior Artística de Porto et de Guimarães. \nBorn in Braga\, Portugal\, in 1956\, Abi Feijó is a portuguese animation filmmaker and producer.\n A graduate of the Oporto School of Fine Arts\, he founded the two prestigious film studios Filmógrafo and Ciclope Filme. Les facettes sociologiques et politiques de ce phénomène seront discutées\, et un regard sera posé sur l’actualité et les nouveaux enjeux que celle-ci soulève\, comme l’exportation de la culture\, l’immigration aujourd’hui et les rapports entre les différentes générations. Pour en débattre un géographe\, un historien\, un réalisateur\, des acteurs culturels et  institutionnelsouvriront le dialogue avec le public. \nThe Portuguese identity\, strong and unified despite its great diversity\, is carried outside of the country’s borders by the diaspora.
