DESCRIPTION:Albertine & Germano Zullo \n\nEn collaboration avec Payot Libraire – Nature & découvertes Suisse\, le festival vous propose une «rencontre-projection» avec Albertine et Germano Zullo\, respectivement illustratrice et auteur genevois d’ouvrages pour la jeunesse\, de chroniques\, de nouvelles et d’oeuvres érotiques et poétiques. Albertine & Germano Zullo collaborent tout deux régulièrement et participent à la création de films d’animation. Lors de cette rencontre\, ils vous feront découvrir les mécanismes d’adaptation de leurs ouvrages au cinéma. Cette rencontre sera suivie d’une séance de dédicaces avec différents auteurs et illustrateurs de bandes dessinées. \nIn conjunction with Payot Bookstore – Nature & Découverte Switzerland\, the Festival is holding a «lecture-screening» with Albertine and Germano Zullo\, the Genevan illustrator and author\, respectively\, of children’s books\, columns\, short stories and erotic and poetic works. Albertine and Germano Zullo both regularly collaborate on the creation of animated films. During this event\, they will discuss their methods for adapting their works to film. The talk will be followed by an autograph session with a number of comics authors and illustrators.

Suite à cette rencontre\, le public pourra approcher les marionnettes et leurs créateurs à la sortie de la salle de cinéma\, leur poser des questions et toucher ces objets et personnages qui prendront vie comme par magie! \nThe Animatou Festival and the Theâtre de Marionnette de Genève invite you to discover the challenges and possibilities of these different types of animation\, through talks and demonstrations by specialists in the film and theatre worlds: After the talk\, at the exit of the theatre\, audience members can meet the puppets and their creators\, ask questions and touch these objects and characters that magically come to life! \n  \nLA MARIONNETTE AU CINÉMA \nFormé à l’Ecole Supérieure d’Arts Visuels de Genève\, Grégory Beaussart s’est spécialisé dès 1997 dans la fabrication de marionettes pour des films d’animation en volume\, notamment pour la série Hôpital Hiltop des studios Folimage. C’est à ce titre qu’il a collaboré à tous les courts-métrages de Claude Barras. Il est devenu responsable de l’équipe de fabrication des marionnettes pour le long métrage Ma vie de Courgette de Claude Barras. \nPUPPETS IN THE MOVIES \nTrained at Geneva’s Ecole Supérieure d’Arts Visuels\, since 1997 Grégory Beaussart has specialized in the fabrication of puppets for stop motion animated films\, most notably for the series Hilltop Hospital by Folimage Studios. In this capacity\, he also worked on all of Claude Barras’ short films. He was head of the puppet making team for Barras’ feature film My Life as a Courgette. \nLA MARIONNETTE AU THÉATRE \nComment donne-t-on vie à une marionnette? DESCRIPTION:RENCONTRE ET DISCUSSION AUTOUR DES QUESTIONS DE LA MIGRATION ET DE L’INTÉGRATION \n\nCette rencontre invite à une réflexion autour des différents modèles d’intégration coexistants en Europe\, replaçant dans leur contexte les différentes vagues migratoires italiennes vers la Suisse depuis l’entredeux- guerres. En mettant en avant la notion d’ouverture sur d’autres cultures et en exposant les fruits des\néchanges qui ont résulté du métissage italo-suisse à Genève et ailleurs\, les intervenant-e-s aideront à mieux comprendre les enjeux des mouvements migratoires de notre époque. En présence d’illustrateurs\, de réalisateurs\, d’artisans et de personnalités actives dans le domaine de l’intégration des migrants. \nThis talk invites the public to reflect on the various models of integration coexisting in Europe\, situating them in the context of the different waves of Italian immigration to Switzerland since the interwar years. By focusing on the concept of openness to other cultures\, and exposing the fruitful exchanges that resulted from Italian-Swiss mixing in Geneva and elsewhere\, the speakers will lead us to better understand the stakes of the migratory movements of our time. Illustrators\, directors\, artisans\, and people actively involved in the area of migrant integration will participate in this event.
