Premier festival compétitif au niveau international, Annecy propose depuis plus de 50 ans des chefs d’oeuvre de l’animation. Plus de 250 films en compétition mais aussi des films de fin d’études, des avant premières, des rétrospectives, des regards singuliers sur l’animation mondiale, ainsi que des projections nocturnes en plein air sur un écran géant au bord du lac ou dans la cour du château!
Annecy est également une référence pour tous les professionnels de l’animation grâce à son marché international du film, regroupant l’industrie de l’animation pour la télévision, le cinéma et les projets multi-plateformes.

As the first international competitive film festival, Annecy has been a showcase of the masterpieces of animation for over 50 years, with more than 250 films in competition. But the festival also screens graduation films, previews and retrospectives, offering particular approaches of the animation world, as well as organising outdoor evenings with a giant screen next to the lake or in the castle courtyard!
Annecy is also a reference for all professionals of the animation thanks to its international film market which involves the animation industry for television, cinema and multi-platform projects.
