Égun raconte l’histoire d’un pêcheur qui cherche à comprendre les évènements ayant conduit à la mort de son père, et aborde la relation entre les conditions socio-culturelles des habitants d’une petite communauté en bordure de mer et les traditions spirituelles du Candomblé afro-brésilien.
Égun tells the story of a fisherman who attempts to understand the events that led to the death of his father. It addresses the relationship between the socio-cultural living conditions in a coastal community and the african-Brazilian spiritual tradition of Candombé.
