Laurence Rilly est chargée des programmes courts métrages à arte Strasbourg depuis 2016. Dans ce cadre, elle coordonne le magazine hebdomadaire du court métrage “Court-circuit”, un des derniers magazines franco-allemands de la chaîne. Laurence accompagne aussi deux cycles de courts : “L’atelier Ludwigsburg-Paris” et un cycle avec la dffb, l’école de cinéma berlinoise. Avant de rejoindre le service cinéma-fiction-séries d’arte, Laurence travaillait au service culture pour la plateforme “arte creative” avec son fondateur Alain Bieber. Cette plateforme était dédiée aux nouvelles pratiques culturelles et artistiques. En 2001, Laurence a lancé le magazine “Cultures électroniques” sur arte.TV, un magazine en ligne dédié aux nouvelles technologies et aux nouvelles images, couvrant le net art, bio art, la musique et la performance. Laurence a rejoint arte en 1997, elle s’est notamment occupé de l’offre internet pour les magazines “Tracks”, “Metropolis”, “Die Nacht\La Nuit” ainsi de plusieurs soirées thématiques sur les nouvelles écritures, les nouvelles technologies et la contre-culture. Bilingue, Laurence a étudié la traduction à Strasbourg et Graz (Autriche) tout en travaillant pour plusieurs associations culturelles et européennes.
Laurence Rilly has been a short film programme manager at ARTE in Strasbourg since 2016. She coordinates the weekly short film magazine programme Short Circuit, one of the channel’s last French-German magazines. Laurence also works with two short film series, Ludwigsburg-Paris Workshop and a series with DFFB, the Berlin film school. Before joining the fiction-film-series department at ARTE, Laurence worked in the culture department for the “ARTE creative” platform with its founder Alain Bieber. This platform was dedicated to new cultural and artistic practices. In 2001, Laurence launched the programme Cultures électroniques on arte.TV, an online show dedicated to new technologies and images, covering Net art, Bio art, music and performance. When Laurence joined ARTE in 1997, she was in charge of the internet content for the shows Tracks, Metropolis, Die Nacht\La Nuit, as well as several thematic evenings on new writing, new technologies and counter culture. Laurence is bilingual and studied translation in Strasbourg and in Graz, Austria while working for several cultural and European associations.
