THOMAS PERRODIN – CRÉATEUR DES VISUELS 2017
Né en 1982, le graphiste et illustrateur Thomas Perrodin, diplômé des Beaux-Arts d’Angoulême, est aussi éditeur au sein du collectif d’artistes Hécatombe et l’auteur de magnifiques objets-livres contemplatifs et nourris d’abstraction, sérigraphiés par ses soins en tirage très limité. Très présent sur la scène alternative genevoise, notamment dans le domaine de la musique, Thomas travaille aussi pour les milieux institutionnels, en Suisse et au-delà.
Animatou est heureux de collaborer à nouveau avec Thomas Perrodin pour la création de tous les visuels du Festival, qui sont placés cette année sous les auspices de notre pays invité, l’Italie. La femme est à l’honneur… qu’elle soit assise se démenant avec une écharpe, en déséquilibre, agrippée à des rênes chevauchant l’indomptable ou en pleine course, elle s’acharne, résiste, évolue dans un paysage tumultueux.

Born in 1982, graphic artist and illustrator Thomas Perrodin is a graduate of the European School of Visual Arts in Angoulême and editor of the artists’ collective Hécatombe. He is also the author of magni cent art object-books, contemplative works of screen-printed abstraction which he prints himself in very limited editions. An active gure in Geneva’s alternative scene, in particular the music scene, Thomas also works for various institutions in Switzerland and abroad.
Animatou is proud to collaborate with graphic designer Thomas Perrodin for the third year in a row. All the visuals for this 12th edition are based on themes pertaining to Italy, the Festival’s 2017 country of honour. Woman, at the center of it all. Whether sitting brandishing a scarf, off-balance, clutching her reins and straddling the untamable, or running full speed – she perseveres, resists and stands unrelenting against a turbulent landscape.
