Caroline Abu Sa’Da a un doctorat en science politique et relations internationales (Sciences Po Paris). Elle a travaillé, particulièrement au Moyen-Orient comme cheffe de mission, pour Oxfam GB, les Nations Unies et la section suisse de Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF). Elle est l’auteure de plusieurs ouvrages, articles, rapports et chapitres de livres portant sur l’action humanitaire, les ONG et le Moyen-Orient.
Caroline a enseigné à la New York University, à Sciences Po Lille et à l’Université de Londres. Elle est actuellement maître de conférences honoraire au HCRI (Humanitarian and Conflict Research Institute), à l’Université de Manchester.
Elle a co-écrit le documentaire Non Assistance avec F. Choffat sur la migration en Méditerranée ainsi que le court-métrage La nef Citoyenne. Elle a également été Directrice de l’Unité de Recherche sur les Enjeux et Pratiques Humanitaires (UREPH) de MSF et responsable éditoriale du Forum au Festival du film et forum international sur les droits humains (FIFDH). Elle est actuellement Directrice Générale de SOS MEDITERRANÉE Suisse.
Caroline Abu Sa’Da studied Political Science and International Relations at Sciences Po in Paris. She has worked for Oxfam UK, the United Nations and MSF, particularly as a head of mission in the Middle-East. She has written several books, articles, reports and book chapters about humanitarian action, NGOs and the MIddle-East.
Caroline has taught at the New York University, Sciences Po Lille and the University of London. She is currently a honorary lecturer at the HCRI (Humanitarian and Conflict Research Institute) of Manchester University.
She is the co-writer with F. Choffat of Non-Assistance, a documentary on migration in the Mediterranean, and of the short film La nef Citoyenne.
She was also the director of MSF’s Research Unit on Humanitarian Stakes and Practices (UREPH) and editor of the Forum at Festival du film et forum international sur les droits humains (FIFDH). She is currently the General Direcor of SOS MEDITERRANEE Suisse.
Aldo Brina est chargé d’information sur l’asile au Centre social protestant de Genève. En 2020, il a publié un livre, Chroniques de l’asile, aux éditions Labor et Fides. Né à Genève, il a suivi des études en sciences politiques avant de s’engager pour la défense du droit d’asile, multipliant dès 2007 les expériences associatives et militantes.
Aldo Brina is the Head of Information on Asylum at the Geneva Centre social protestant. In 2020, he published a book on this topic, Chroniques de l’asile. Born in Geneva, he studied Political Science before getting involved in the defence of the right to asylum, with multiple experiences in activist and associative networks.
Travailleur social communautaire, Sylvain Thévoz mène en parallèle une action militante et politique. Député au Grand Conseil après avoir siégé au Conseil municipal de la Ville de Genève, il a présidé la commission des arts et de la culture. Au carrefour de ses multiples engagements, il poursuit une activité d’écriture. Ses ouvrages, publiés principalement dans le champ de la poésie et dans des maisons d’édition genevoises, dessinent des univers habités par la figure du devenir, de l’animal, du pouvoir et de la perte. Né en 1974, Sylvain Thévoz est papa de deux enfants de moins de 3 ans, qui fréquentent déjà Animatoup’tits avec joie.
A community and social worker, Sylvain Thévoz also has many activities in activist and political circles. Now a member of Canton Geneva’s parliament after sitting on the City of Geneva City Council, he was the head of the Commission on Arts and Culture. At the crossroads of his many commitments, he carries on writing, mostly poetry, for Geneva-based publishers. His works address themes such as the future, the relationships between humans and animals, power, and loss. Born in 197, he is the father of two children under 3 ears old, who are already joyful members of the Animatoup’tits community.
